These slides, made by Mike Swearingen of the Saner Cigar Box Guitars family, not only stand out for their looks but sound unique and are excellent to play. Each slide is hand-made from white oak, and then given a hard finish on the outside. They are lighter in weight than glass or metal slides, and have a smooth, mellow sound (closer to thin-walled glass than copper or bronze). Check out the photo and demonstration below!
